What is EYFS

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the statutory framework published in 2012 by the Department for Education that sets the standards for the development, learning and care of children from birth to five. (EYFS)  provides a structured educational plan that summarizes and describes children’s attainment that should be reached before their first year of primary school.

The curriculum aims develop children holistically, through carefully  planned  activities, which caters for the seven learning areas of development set by the EYFS curriculum
