BRITISH CURRICULUM
WHAT IS EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE?
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum aims to develop children holistically, through carefully planned activities, which caters for the seven learning areas of development set by the EYFS curriculum.
Our Kindergarten follows the Early Years Foundations Stage Curriculum with reflection of the EYFS principles. which are A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development.
Activities and learning are tailor made according to the need of each individual child. These activities are in reflection with the learning areas of development and the EYFS principles.
ISLAMIC CURRICULUM
Our students focus on daily recitation of the Qur’an with, understanding, correct pronunciation (Tajweed) and memorisation (hifdh) of a portion of the Qur’an.
Al Madina uses the Halaqa curriculum which was compiled by Shakhsiya Foundation and used in a variety of Kindergartens and primary schools in the UK.
We want all our children to be able to speak and communicate in Arabic fluently both in reading and writing to express their feelings, thoughts and imagination.
